Boutique Agency to Sell Ads on City Property
Earlier this month, the Milford-based marketing and communications company, KKPR Marketing & Public Relations, signed a deal with the city of Scranton, taking on the market-based revenue opportunity based on an RFP release earlier in the year to sell ads on city-owned property. The boutique agency signed the three-year contract on July 26, 2013.
The city of Scranton will be leasing available space on much of its property as an additional source of revenue, including garbage trucks, downtown Scranton lamp posts, the city’s website www.scrantonpa.gov, and a number of other assets.
“We look forward to working with city hall to generate additional funds for Scranton,” said Katrina Foster, President & Founder of KKPR Marketing & Public Relations. “Personally, I truly enjoy all the city has to offer and being a part of propelling it forward. Earlier in the summer season, Philadelphia started doing the exact same thing and the venture has proven to be rewarding for the city of brotherly love. We anticipate a rewarding outcome for both parties.”
The Scranton area boasts rich history, shopping, art galleries, historic architecture and a unique culture all its own. From the Lackawanna County Coal Mine Tour and the Steamtown National Historic Site, to annual food and music festivals, Scranton has year-round events that draw local residents and tourists alike.
