KKPR President Wins Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Milford, PA (November 20, 2012) – On Monday, November 12th, 2012, the President and Founder of KKPR Marketing & Public Relations, Katrina Foster, was awarded a SAGE (Scranton Awards for Growth and Excellence) award for Young Entrepreneur of the Year. With more than 550 people in attendance at the Mellow Theater at Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA, Ms. Foster graciously accepted the award, which recognizes the accomplishments and operational successes of a local business that is owned and operated by an individual age 13-30. Her boutique agency was also a runner up for Small Business of the Year.
The SAGE awards celebrate the outstanding efforts of the local business community and their talent, creativity, and innovation in a challenging business environment. The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce and MetroAction of Scranton have been recognizing the efforts and achievements of their business community for the last two years.
“I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to the community for rewarding me for doing what I love most,” said Ms. Foster. “I am fortunate to have built a great team and to have surrounded myself with great people that truly get what I am doing and are equally as supportive. This was a really nice way to finish off my last two weeks in my twenties and propel me into just the right mindset for the next decade of my entrepreneurial career.”
The Young Entrepreneur of the Year award was presented by Kathleen Bird, the Director of Employer Relations for McCann School of Business & Technology.
KKPR, Kconceptual Kreations, opened its doors in 2006 and has grown from a one-woman, home-based business to a budding boutique agency that currently includes additional publicists, designers, and administration staff. The marketing and public relations company re-launched its brand in September of 2008, which introduced KKPR Marketing & Public Relations, the new look and feel of Kconceptual Kreations. Since its brand re-launch, many new and exciting things have developed in the world of KKPR from new clients and services to new staff and KKPR Brands, including their most recent brand, KKPR Transit Advertising.
